Trident sludge treatment at Weftec 2024

On October 6-9 Trident attended the 2024 Weftec, North America’s largest wastewater treatment exhibition and conference. The 97th annual edition of this event, returned to New Orleans.  Trident exhibited in the inaugural Weftec Circular Water Economy Pavilion and presented its portfolio of advanced sludge treatment and water reclamation solutions. Trident separation equipment is well adopted in a wide range of industrial and municipal applications and the interest from treatment plant operators in agri-foods, manufacturing, oil & gas sectors as well as sewage treatment plants was remarkable. 

Efficient sludge dewatering and thickening is gaining popularity and has become an essential part of wastewater treatment. Recovering water from liquid waste streams with high organic solids content is a key expertise of Trident. It allows plants to recycle effluent for their processes onsite. Many plants also have to dispose of the solids at landfills, requiring hauling to those sites. Reducing water content is key in managing disposal and transportation cost.
