Trident at Midwest Manure Summit
Abbotsford, BC – February 21st, 2019. Trident is excited for the opportunity to participate in the Midwest Manure Summit on February 27th in Green Bay, WI. Once again, the University of Wisconsin Extension Team is going to put on a great event. It aims at dairy farmers, manure specialist and environmental experts, technology providers and academia. Participants will learn about research, innovation, new technologies and management practices. Manure expert Trident will offer their perspective on advanced manure handling and processing. We will also provide insight in manure treatment installations, like the Nutrient Recovery System in Fair Oaks, IN.
Trident has a long relationship with the University of Wisconsin, and is also part of the Accelerated Renewable Energy Consortium that was established together with Maple Leaf Dairy in Wisconsin. Trident was one of the first companies to provide commercially viable nutrient recovery technology to dairy farms in North America, and continues to be a lead in this field.
The one-day manure summit will return to iconic Lambeau Field, Green Bay. For a detailed agenda visit the event website https://fyi.extension.wisc.edu/midwestmanure/agenda-2/. You can also visit the UW Extension’s YouTube channel or Facebook.
Effective treatment of manure involves a dedicated fine-solid separation process that removes the nutrients from the effluent. Trident conducts bench testing in a lab to analyze details such as solids or nutrient content.
