New Legislation Creating Tax Incentive for Investments in Biogas and Nutrient Recovery

Farms that plan to invest into nutrient recovery and or biogas systems will be excited to hear about the Agriculture Environmental Stewardship Act (HR 5489). The new bill addresses the importance of biogas and nutrient recovery technology which will increase the sustainability of farms. The Act provides a 30 percent investment tax credit (ITC) for qualifying systems. For more details see the industry news releases below.
